Grounded Guide

There’s something about Brittany’s presence that makes you want to settle in and breathe a little deeper. Her calm energy, light and grounding voice, and genuinely kind nature create a class that feels steady and welcoming – even when the practice itself is asking you to work.

Brittany has been practicing at Hot Yoga Auburn since 2013 and completed her teacher training in 2018. She brings a thoughtful approach to Original Hot Yoga, pairing the physical practice with the deeper lessons that have kept her connected to yoga for so many years. Don’t be surprised if a posture leads to a story, a little yoga philosophy, or something that gives you a different way to think about what’s happening on your mat. For Brittany, the practice has always been about more than what your body can do.

That same patience and thoughtfulness carries through the way she teaches. She encourages students to meet themselves where they are, stay connected to their breath, and find strength without forcing it. Outside the hot room, Brittany is a fourth-grade teacher, mom of two, and happiest when she can get outside for some skiing or hiking. Her hope is that you leave class feeling a little more grounded than when you walked in.
